About the Role
Your main tasks are
- Leading Projects to a successful delivery, working in close cooperation with the international project team in Austria, responsible for engineering, production and commissioning.
- First point of contact for the local customers, the international project team and the local sales and customer service departments. Supervising the mutual division of tasks and co-addressing stakeholders on responsibilities.
- Monitoring the project scope and identifying, assessing, and following up deviations (claim, risk and escalation management).
- Act as a trouble-shooter and make suggestions for improvement.
- Drafting, monitoring and where necessary adjusting project documents, recording project progress and compiling and presenting progress reports.
- Act as project coordinator on location.
- Working in close cooperation with Sales Engineering and Customer Service to ensure a seamless handling of the projects during the different phases.
- For the above tasks, 40-70% travel is required (mainly Benelux). You will be accountable to the Head of Project Management. There is also close cooperation with the head office in Austria.
The candidate
- You will have completed a Bachelor's Degree, Project Management training, such as PRINCE 2 or IPMA, is also an advantage.
- You will have 5 to 10 years of work experience as a Project Manager, with a strong preference for experience in intralogistics.
- Moves easily in a matrix organization with a remote headquarters.
- You have good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills and you are dedicated, reliable, have a sense of responsibility and are able to work well under pressure.
- As a persuasive and connecting communicator, you will need to have a good command of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing. German and (especially verbal) is an advantage.
- Given the geographical spread of our projects, central living in the Netherlands is an advantage. • We are looking for a pleasant person who can make a positive contribution to the team.
