About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Provide preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance across all plant equipment and facilities. Perform routine maintenance and support for various equipment, including arc melting furnaces, forging, preheating furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, cutting & milling processes. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, right-first-time approach, and preventative maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
Innovative and dynamic team player. Qualified experience in metals or heavy industrial environment. Minimum ONC or NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering. Practical hands-on background in mechanical engineering. Strong problem-solving skills. Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Desirable:
Experience in fitting, machining, and welding. Detailed expertise in hydraulics/pneumatics/vacuum systems.
