HR Systems Administrator

£33,000 to £36,000 plus excellent benefits
Hours of Work: Mon-Fri 8.30am to 4.30pm
Cruise Control Recruitment is seeking a skilled HR Systems Administrator to join a dynamic team at a leading manufacturing company based in Hereford.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the role will be responsible for providing a HR Systems & Administration service for the Hereford site with a strong emphasis on HR Systems. Organise and maintain manual and computer-based employee records to meet Company needs. To provide a professional, confidential service for the HR department, to include production of statutory and statistical documentation. Provide accurate, timely and meaningful HR data analytics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for ensuring the HR Time & Attendance System (SAP) is maintained and accurate and cleared down on a daily basis.
Update and maintenance of employee and organization records in SAP/ Workday/ other HRIS systems, including generating and running reports.
Prepares, maintains and files appropriate documentation, e.g. employee records, strength returns, and computer input forms related to employee engagements, terminations, transfers and changes to personal details, notifying appropriate departments of such changes.
Deals with all matters relating to absence and sickness including the input of absence information into computer systems, the preparation of hard copy reports for Management, answering queries from employees, Management, and other sources, circulating appropriate SSP documentation, checking and circulating all absence data and advising Payroll Manager of correct payments etc.
Prepares and issues documentation and conducts induction talk for new employees, detailing the Company sick pay and absence procedures, holiday entitlement, Company rules, issues safety equipment and clock cards, details working hours and Union information. Obtains information such as Income Tax details, bank details, birth certificates, pension details, beneficiary/next of kin details and records and employees’ personal file.
Processes Staff Salary/Job Change Forms, Change of Regular Assignment Forms and Salary Control Information Sheets. Identifies due dates of salary reviews for trainees and prepares appropriate salary increase letter, sends notification to relevant persons. UK Metals Group Job Description
Prepares and updates records and relevant forms in connection with employees’ personal details, e.g. change of address, marital status, beneficiary, department/job change and termination.
Deals with queries and requests for information by telephone, letter, email and in person, referring to the HR Business Partner for guidance where necessary. Provides, as required, information from personnel records and other sources.
Is required to maintain complete confidentiality concerning employee circumstances etc.
HR Reporting, Absence and Overtime, employee headcount and any other reports as directed by HR Business Partner.
General HR administration as directed by the HR Business Partner.
Adherence to the internal processes and procedures.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the HR Operations Lead during annual salary increases and Quarterly Cash Bonus (QCB) process.
Pensions Administration.
Company Healthcare and other Employee benefits administration.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience maintaining HRIS systems, specifically SAP & Workday essential.
Previous HR administration experience essential.
A Level in English and Mathematics preferred though not essential.
Associate CIPD preferred but not essential.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Good/ advanced user of SAP.
Excellent IT skills, Including MS Excel advanced user.
Good communication, organisation and prioritising skills.
Strong numerical skills and data accuracy.
